  • 1 tbsp natural unsweetened yoghurt
  • 1/2 tbsp honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • A handful of ice cubes if desired

Health Benefits of Bananas

Bananas, a staple fruit in many households, are not only delicious but also offer an array of health benefits. They are a fantastic source of dietary fibre, potassium, and vitamin C. Bananas provide sustained energy, support heart health, aid digestion, and promote healthy skin. Additionally, they are known to boost mood and help regulate blood pressure, making them a perfect choice for a wholesome smoothie.

Health Benefits of Mango

Mangoes, often referred to as the “king of fruits,” are not only heavenly in taste but also rich in nutrients. They are packed with vitamins A and C, antioxidants, and dietary fibre. Mangoes contribute to boosting immunity, improving digestion, supporting eye health, and promoting healthy skin. Their natural sweetness adds a tropical twist to any smoothie.

How to make Mango & Banana Smoothie

  1. In a blender, combine the diced mango, peeled banana, juice, and honey (if desired). The honey can be adjusted according to your preferred level of sweetness. If all the fruits are ripe, it should be sweet enough without it.
  2. Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender. The ice will not only chill the smoothie but also give it a refreshing and slushy texture.
  3. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, add more juice; if it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
  4. Pour the delicious Banana and Mango Smoothie into a glass, and garnish it with a slice of mango or a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra touch of flavour.
