This intensive natural taste is only conceivable because the seeds are gently sundried and gently produced with the greatest care. Origin and Production: Organic Fairtrade products create more awareness for social and ecological issues. We source our organic fairtrade Nigella seeds exclusively from Uzbekistan/Samarkand. The fields and farmers are certified for organic and FAIRTRADE products. The farmers are a part of a large Fairtrade community made up of 3 groups, Dustkul Bogi, Turkiston Gulba and Turob Bobo. 1,000 farmers and their families belong to the community. By working with Fairtrade, the farmers can provide their families with a protected source of revenue and offer their children new opportunities. After being harvested by hand, the seeds are gently dried the use of solar energy. The drying process is very eco-friendly, the use of a solar drying method that has a minimal affect on the product.
