This clay pot is the most often used cookware in Morocco.
Tagines are hand-stewed from natural clay and fired in the oven.
In this tagine you’ll be able to prepare a wide variety of dishes (fish, meat, vegetables) at gringer heat.
Thanks to the gentle preparation, many vitamins are preserved and the ingredients can unfold their full aroma.
Traditionally, the tagine is used on open fire.
You can apply it to all types of cookers and in the oven.
(An induction hob requires an adapter plate)

Brief information on proper handling and care:
Before the first cooking process, the tagine will have to be used for approx. 10 hours in water. Then the base of the pot is greased with oil.
The tagine is cleaned with warm water, without detergent. Please never clean the tagine in the dishwasher.
In the tagine you’ll be able to prepare stews at the stove, or in the oven.
Tajines do not tolerate high heat and must all the time be heated slowly, maximum at medium heat.
If the tagine is placed on a hot hob or in the already hot oven, it can get a crack.
Please note that we cannot accept any warranty for cracks caused by fallacious use.
